Wow, we are so close to Christmas already and the Holiday Parties are all around us. There are decadent chocolates, baked goods of all sorts of goodies to entice us for just one more and rich entree’s to entice us to go for seconds. Who are we to turn it down? How often do we have the chance to indulge in such wonderful, flavourful fair? For most of us, only this time of year. Most are of the mind they will deal with the consequences of the extra pounds as soon as the holidays are over. I would rather stay on track. Are you ready? What will your strategy be?
What’s your New Year’s Resolution?
That’s where the New Year’s resolutions come in. Everyone will ask what your resolutions are. We start making all sorts of promises to ourselves and our families that we will stop one habit and start another beginning in the new year. Most resolutions get abandoned within 3 months. I read a shocking statistic the other day: 80% of those that join a gym on January first quit by February first!

That wasn’t me, because I simply wouldn’t go to the gym in the first place.
